Ok, SERIOUSLY??? When we moved to western Massachussets the biggest natural disaster threat was snow! Since June we have had a tornado, an earthquake, and now we are preparing for a hurricane? WELL FOR PETE'S SAKE! Brad and I got hit be 3 hurricanes in Florida one year. Here are some things that we learned.
1. Make sure you have enough food that you can make without electricity.
2. Have plenty of ice for your perishables.
3. Get yourself enough gas for your car and generator before it hits.
4. Connect with some friends, hunker down together and have a "hurricane party!"
Stay safe eveyone!
Welcome to Deschaine Delights...so happy you decided to stop by! I hope you are "delighted" by what you find!

Four, Five, P!
Alexander has been doing great with his speech. The other day we were reading the Dr. Seuss book, "Ten Apples Up On Top" (I feel like if I say, "ten apples up not one will drop" one more time my head just might explode!) and he was saying the last word or two of every sentence. He was saying four and five with the "f" sound and that was the first time I had heard it. When I asked him to say fish he still said, "P!" I thought it was so funny that I had to get it on video...enjoy!
I decided to do a second take and here is what happened!
Happy 98th birthday!
Here's to more years to come! Lot's of hugs and love...
